The Social Impact Award Summit 2019 is a gathering of 150+ young social innovators. It is the ultimate meeting point for all the winners of SIA 2019 from different countries around Europe, Central Asia, and East Africa, altogether from 17 countries.

It took place in the vibrant Ukrainian capital Kyiv from December 3rd to 7th 2019.

The event welcomed all impact ventures that won the Social Impact Award (SIA) in 2019: Social innovators challenging the status quo in areas such as migration, health, education or climate change.

Beyond that the Social Innovation Academy (SIA) Summit also serves as the ultimate meeting point of leading international and national organisations working at the frontier of social entrepreneurship and youth empowerment.

48 SIA winners were taking part in the event. During the Summit event there was an Impact Camp designed program for the winners. The Impact Camp provides the winning teams of SIA 2019 with an intense personal learning experience and aims to equip them with essential skills for a successful journey as future entrepreneurs and change makers.

Zooming out of purely entrepreneurship related topics, participants have developed their individual capacities in more fundamental skill areas such as leadership, innovation strategy and connection.

A highly experienced team of facilitators led the participants through a mix of hands-on skill workshops, interactive learning simulations, and also inspirational exchanges with experts and peers. Learn more about the amazing Facilitation Team here. ? http://bit.ly/summit19-facilitationteam

There was a VISION RETREAT which was designed to empower all SIA organizers in reflecting on the progress of their activities throughout 2019 and strategize on how to further develop the program.

In interactive sessions, they leverage the international dimension of SIA’s growing team to learn from each other and build a stronger and more resilient community.
